Do I need a gynaecology check-up every year?
Not every test needs to be repeated annually. Frequency depends on age, symptoms, medical history, previous results and screening programmes.
Does a consultation automatically mean an examination?
No. We first listen to the reason for your visit. If an examination or test may be useful, it is explained beforehand and requires your consent.
What should I do if I have heavy bleeding or severe pain?
Sudden severe pain, very heavy bleeding, fainting, breathing difficulty or pregnancy with pain and bleeding require urgent assessment. Call 112 if there is immediate danger.
